assisi, italy. by far my favorite place we went to. we drove there and then walked to where we were having lunch. the food was never that amazing but oh well! after that, we walked around a little bit and then met with a monk who talked to us about the town and saint francis. it was actually really interesting. after that, we walked forever into the main part of town and then got almost 2 hours of free time. that was the greatest. i was with alexa, destiny and rebecca. we bought lots of stuff from shop and got gelato! i called my dad for the first time and it was weird how i actually liked talking to him. assisi is seriously beautiful and i love all the pictures i took there. the picture for today is overlooking the entire town, which was a gorgeous view. props to destiny ;D. after free time, we all met up and got back on the bus to go to the hotel. it was a really shitty hotel, worse than the first one. no tv's, phones or air conditioning, and 4 people to a room. dinner was really good though. we had it in a garden near the hotel and a bunch of italian teenagers came to talk to us. i talked to this girl bennedetta, whose english was really good. it was so cool to learn about their culture like that. we talked about everrrything. school, home, movies, hobbies, food, whatever. also, that was the first time i talked to jon, greg and bryan. really glad about that because they became really close to me. i mean, it deffinitely was one of my favorite days. i love assisi <3. also; we met 2 years ago today. how qt :)
