beautiful. today, we got up bright and early to drive to monterosso beach, which was gorgeous (minus the rocks!) i went in the water with alexa, destiny, jon, greg, joe, alex, jasmine, etc. i kept floating out like, 30 feet and jon had to ~save~ me hahaha. JON, TI AMO! what would i do without him? anyway, we stayed on the beach for about 3 hours and then got ready to leave. we hiked along the via del amore which was really tiring and hot but the view was amazing, as you can see from today's picture. after a pointless hike (ha), we got on a boat ride along the cinque terre, which is basically 5 fishing villages. they were so qt. built on the mountains and everything. those boat rides were so fun ahaha. "quick, take a picture of me and his backpack!" "johannes, why do you always smile like that?" HAHAH, greg and jon tortured that man. all in love, of course. the boat brought us to la spezia, italy. that's where our hotel was. we got on the bus and drove there. it was kindof a relaxing day, thank god. even with the hike, it was pretty nice. we were supposed to have the homestay meeting after dinner, but they decided to have it the next morning on the bus. fun time! the hotel we stayed in was super nice, probably the nicest one the whole time. free time was so much fun. a bunch of us dressed up for dinner haha, i wore a qt dress :) after that, we had more free time and i was with greg, joe, danielle, alex and bryan in the hallway of the hotel, looking at pictures and greg was saying all the johannes quotes. hahaha. so fucking funny. another great day!
